On April 24, 2024, the Department of Justice updated Title II to include our digital content and mobile apps explicitly in the law and provides direct guidance on what and how public entities will need to reduce barriers for people with disabilities in these environments. This session will discuss how NC State will address those compliance requirements and provide additional strategies that might work well at your institution. This session will address course content accessibility, accessible procurement, documentation required from vendors, and a high level of how to incorporate tools to test the accessibility of digital content.
